ToolWatch Gains GSA Approval
ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Apr. 26, 2005—The General Service Administration's (GSA) recent approval of ToolWatch Corporation's products makes it easier for federal customers to purchase the company's powerful tool tracking and management software.
"GSA approval opens the door for us to reach government clients, a group that stands to benefit greatly from our ToolWatch SE product," said Don Kafka, ToolWatch president. "More importantly, this makes it much simpler for government clients to access our products."
ToolWatch has been approved under GSA Schedule 70 to provide its core product, ToolWatch SE, an enterprise level tool tracking and management system. Additionally, ToolWatch is approved to provide maintenance, software licenses and training programs. As a result, federal customers now have access to these products without a bidding process. Also, the GSA schedule sets discounted prices specifically negotiated for government customers.
The ToolWatch system helps organizations maximize the use of their tools, equipment and supplies, reducing costs associated with tool retention and loss. Increased federal access to this tool management software helps federal agencies improve retention of valuable assets and increase efficiency by making sure tools are available when they are needed. In a government setting, this translates to better use of taxpayer money.
ToolWatch software and services are listed on the GSA-managed Web site, GSA Advantage! (www.GSAAdvantage.gov), which serves as a catalog for products listed on GSA contracts. Online access to contract ordering information, terms and conditions and up-to-date pricing are available on the site.
